The Wanni Fuga Concept Store is a 196 sqm retail and atelier space in Abuja, Nigeria, inspired by the spatial principles of traditional West African compound architecture. Designed as a continuous loop, the store encourages fluid movement and communal interaction while accommodating both retail and on-site tailoring functions.

Existing structural columns were reimagined as sculptural gathering and display elements, connected by a brass rail that defines circulation. A restrained palette of travertine, oak, woven wall coverings, and brass creates a calm backdrop, allowing the brand’s identity to take center stage.

The project translates the essence of compound living into a contemporary retail experience through thoughtful planning, materiality, and spatial flow.
